My name is Venetta, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor. I have been in practice for 6 years, and I live in Victoria, British Columbia. One of the fundamental reasons I chose to become a counsellor is because I strongly believe that I am meant to work in the facilitating role of helping people improve all areas of their lives. I am extremely passionate about psychology, human behavior, and the human mind, and I possess an innate desire to be continuously learning in order to improve my practice and myself. I am a deeply compassionate, intuitive, and caring person by nature, qualities that play an integral role in helping to support my clients during their journey towards wellness and optimal mental health.

Growing up on the West Coast of Canada, I have always lived my own life according to very high standards of wellness and balance; encompassing values which I believe positively impact my practice and my ability to effectively support my clients. I strongly believe in the value of taking a client-centered, holistic and biopsychosocial approach to healing, with emphasis on the cognitive behavioral components of learning and correcting unwanted thoughts, feelings and behaviors.
