My personal philosophy on mental health centres around my unfaltering belief in the importance of empowerment, and in the importance of providing clients with the resources and skills they need to be successful in their lives during treatment and beyond. I initially pursued a career in counselling because I am wildly passionate about psychology and mental health, and because I believe so firmly in the growth, change and transformations that can occur with the right help and guidance. I truly believe it is my calling to impact and change peoples lives for the better.

I strongly believe that I can guide you towards improving your life in endless ways. Change and growth can be achieved through a number of different psychotherapy avenues, ranging from a variety of evidence based theories and treatment approach options. In particular, my practice is highly influenced, but not limited to, these major approaches:

  • Body Centred/Somatic Trauma Therapy

  • Internal Family Systems

  • Compassionate Inquiry

  • Attachment Theory

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy models

  • Mindfulness based CBT approaches

  • Biopsychosocial/Holistic approaches

  • Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

In my practice, my goal is to always implement a non-judgemental, creative and compassionate energy to every session. Depending on your interests, beliefs, goals, and issues, we will decide collaboratively on a treatment approach that we feel best suits your needs for the most ideal outcome. Counselling and psychology can be life changing and deeply transformative, and I am excited to help guide and accompany you on your personal journey towards achieving your goals and a more fulfilling life.
